My name is Christopher DeVine, and I am from Lima, Peru. Months after I was born, I was adopted by an American couple,  who also adopted my sister from Peru at the same time. We were raised in Camden County, New Jersey, then moved to Rhode Island in 1989, when my sister and I were to start the fifth grade. I attended middle school and high school in Rhode Island, during which I enjoyed playing the piano, drawing, photography, skateboarding, playing video games and watching anime, all of which I still enjoy to this day. After high school, I did a year of community service with City Year Rhode Island, then attended Pratt Institute School of Architecture in Brooklyn, New York. During architecture school, I played keyboard in a live hip hop band and enjoyed making music with computers. After graduation, I stayed in Brooklyn and moved between five apartments in three years. I now live in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
